Catalog Content This study sets out to analyse the works of sealing art in Anatolia from the beginning of the Hittite period to the Hittite period, in order to examine the outlines of the understanding of sealing in Anatolia.The following aspects will be examined:The origin of sealsThe functions of sealsThe forms of sealsIconography and datingThe Neolithic seal tradition,The Chalcolithic seal tradition, The Early Bronze Age and cylinde seal tradition during the Assyrian trade colonies period in Middle Bronze Age.
