Catalog Content In this course, the geographical features of Mesopotamia and its immediate environs are introduced, with an emphasis on the relationship between these features and the distribution of settlements in the region, as well as the emergence and spread of cultures. Thereafter, the cultures that emerged in the region from the Palaeolithic Period until the end of the Chalcolithic Period are introduced.
