Catalog Content Philosophical Origins of Phenomenology: Descartes’ method of doubt, Kant’s transcendental philosophy, influences of German idealism; Overview of Phenomenology: Phenomenology in Edmund Husserl, phenomenology in Martin Heidegger, phenomenology in Maurice Merleau-Ponty, phenomenology in Emmanuel Levinas, phenomenology in Jean-Paul Sartre, other phenomenologists; Basic Concepts of Phenomenological Method: Mind, phenomenon, epoche and reduction, transcendental and eidetic reduction, intentionality, science and lifeworld, body, existence, being-in-the-world, etc.; Examples of Phenomenological Analysis: Time, space, body, intersubjectivity, sociality and community, etc.
