Week - 1 Definition of computer and information about the general structure of the computer. Information about basic computer concepts.
Week - 2 Definition of information technologies. Importance of information technologies. Basic features of computers. What does a computer not do? Basic concepts and operation in computers.
Week - 3 Types of computers. Classification of computers. Purposes of using computers.
Week - 4 Areas of use of computers in historical science
Week - 5 Knowledge of tools and programs to be used in conducting research
Week - 6 Online archives and libraries to be used in research
Week - 7 Knowledge of tools and programs to be used in the writing phase
Week - 8 Knowledge of methods, tools and programs to be used in making presentations
Week - 9 Midterm Exam
Week - 10 Main programs and tools used in writing articles, theses and books
