Week - 2 Major classifications of the Turkic languages; The geographical distribution of Turkic-speaking peoples
Week - 3 Representations of the phonemes /a/, /ä/ (open ä), /e/ (closed e); /ı/, /i/; /o/, /u/ and /ö/, /ü/ in historical texts
Week - 4 What is primary vowel length; Primary vowel lengths in the historical Turkic languages
Week - 5 Vowel changes in historical Turkic languages (assimilation, rounding, metathesis, syncopation etc.)
