Recommended Resources Zafer Taşlıklıoğlu, Gramer ve Syntaks.

Aims of the Course

Week - 1 General review.
Week - 2 Learning capital letters.
Week - 3 The use of breath marks and other symbols with capital letters. Exercises on the pronunciation of cursively written capital letters.
Week - 4 The examination of the nominative, vocative, and accusative cases of second declension nouns ending in "os," along with exercises related to these cases.
Week - 5 The learning of the genitive and dative cases of second declension words ending in "os."
Week - 6 Definite articles; the declension of second declension neuter nouns; the declension of first declension feminine nouns ending in "eta" and first declension feminine nouns ending in "alpha," along with their usage in sentences.
Week - 7 Second declension adjectives and the qualified use of adjectives.
Week - 8 Midterm exam
Week - 9 The use of adjectives as nouns.
Week - 10 The use of the active voice in the imperfect tense, and compound verbs.
Week - 11 Translation of texts composed of imperfect tense verbs.
Week - 12 Translation of texts related to the topics covered and sentence analyses.
Week - 13 Translation of texts related to the topics covered and sentence analyses.
