# Field Qualifications
1 Based on the qualifications acquired at the secondary education level, has basic theoretical and practical knowledge in medical terminology, anatomy-physiology, and health informatics, supported by textbooks, application tools, and other current resources.
2 Has basic-level knowledge and skills in algorithm design, fundamental programming logic, and database management systems, applied to the processing of health data.
3 Has basic knowledge of electronic health records (EHR), hospital information management systems (HIMS), and medical classification/clinical coding (ICD) standards, and uses these systems.
4 Has the skill to establish and operate the integration of medical devices with information systems, Internet of Things (IoT) applications in healthcare, and telehealth/telemedicine infrastructures used in healthcare institutions.
5 Interprets and evaluates data, identifies and analyzes problems, and develops evidence-based solutions by utilizing clinical decision support systems and artificial intelligence applications, using the basic knowledge and skills acquired in health informatics.
6 Applies cybersecurity measures, data security principles, and personal data protection legislation during the collection, processing, storage, and sharing of health data.
7 Applies current technologies such as natural language processing, clinical text mining, and blockchain-based data sharing at a basic level in project work related to the integration of health information systems.
8 Develops basic-level applications to improve repetitive business processes in healthcare institutions by using robotic process automation (RPA) tools.
9 Acts in accordance with quality management and accreditation processes in healthcare and with patient rights and ethical principles; evaluates public health informatics data; independently carries out a task and takes responsibility as a team member.
10 Communicates field-related ideas and proposed solutions in writing and verbally, drawing also on experience gained during work-based vocational training; follows developments in the field using a foreign language, and effectively uses information and communication technologies.
