Faculty of Humanities | Department of Sociology | Occupational Profiles of Graduates

Graduates of the Department of Sociology can be employed in public and private institutions. They can also work as experts, project supervisors and sociologists in the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Family and Social Services, Ministry of Health, human resources departments of private companies, media organizations, and research companies. Graduates can be also employed as sociologists, experts, civil servants, and researchers in juvenile detention centres, prisons, and child welfare agencies. Additionally, they can also assume the title of family counselor as long as receiving required certificates, or have academic career through post-graduate studies.
