In accordance with decision no. 92.26.698 of the Council of Higher Education Executive Board, they can use the title of “Medical Secretary”. Graduates are employed in medical units such as clinics, policlinics, laboratories, surgery rooms and emergency rooms of public and private healthcare institutions. They may also be employed in administrative units such as medical boards, patient admission and registration desks, and archives in healthcare institutions. Furthermore, as holders of a two-year associate degree, graduates of the program can transfer to undergraduate programs delivered in on-campus or distance mode.
