The main goal of the Turkish Music Master's Program, which is opened under the Department of Music, is to graduate performers who are competent enough to perform traditional and modern compositions solo and ensemble. In this direction, our graduates reach the level of performance that will take place in both local and international events. In addition, he can take part as a performer in state-affiliated Classical Turkish and Folk Music Ensembles and TRT-affiliated ensembles. They can also pursue an academic career as researchers by progressing in many sub-branches of Turkish music, such as maqam and rhythm analysis, music writings, organology, computational musicology, field research, and rhythm-meter analysis.
