The M.A. program in Public Law aims to enable candidates to gain advanced expert knowledge. Candidates take courses for two semesters, focusing on contemporary and controversial matters in sub-brunches of public law. Candidates evaluate and discuss existing public law concepts and institutions in light of recent developments. Candidates are encouraged to develop a critical approach to existing concepts and institutions of public law, to identify and define newly introduced ideas by following recent developments in the field, and to defend their unique ideas resulting from their studies. After all the courses are taken, candidates choose a subject from one of the sub-branches of public law and are required to prepare a unique dissertation.
