Open Education Faculty | International Trade

The Program in International Trade is an associate degree program launched in the Open Education Faculty following the restructuring of the Distance Education System in 1993. Graduates of this program can work in private and public institutions in their fields of study.

The courses given in the program are based on one-semester credit system, and education in the program is given in four academic semesters. Students of faculties offering distance education take two exams in each academic semester. Students take these exams – i.e. one midterm and one final exam – in exam centers they determine during their registration for the program.

Students graduating from this department have the opportunity to attend other programs giving either on-campus education or distance education if they achieve in a transfer exam conducted based on the "Regulation on Transfer to Undergraduate Degree Programs for Graduates of Vocational Schools and Open Education Associate Degree Programs”.
