The Associate Degree Program in Banking and Insurance was launched in the Open Education Faculty following the restructuring of the Distance Education System in 1993. Graduates of this program can work in private and public enterprises in the field of Banking and Insurance. Courses are offered in a semester-based system, and duration of the program is two years. Students receiving education according to Central Open Education System of Anadolu University sit for four exams, i.e. midterms and final exams, in fall and spring terms. Students take the exams in the cities where the bureaus they get registered are located. The students that finish the program successfully are granted the diploma of associate degree.

Basic learning materials of students studying in the Program in Banking and Insurance are textbooks. There are also television programs that support textbooks. Academic counseling (face-to-face education) is offered for some of the main courses. Besides, our students benefit from e-learning applications (e-book, e-television, e-exam, e-exercise and e-counselling) by getting support service on the internet.
