School of Music and Drama | Department of Music | Program in String Instruments | Cello Program

The Cello Program provides education under the String Instruments Department. The Cello Program includes professional compulsory courses such as instrument, accompaniment, chamber music and orchestra.

This program acts with the mission of training students who are sensitive, experienced and equipped with scientific knowledge in the field of polyphonic music and who can take part in the international art arena.

In order to develop stage performance, which is one of the main elements of instrument education, it organizes concerts and recitals and organizes various events by inviting expert instructors/artists from Turkey and abroad.

Program aims to train soloists, orchestra artists and chamber music artists in national and international arenas by providing education with contemporary methods and techniques.

It also supports future academics to become fully equipped individuals who will follow developments in the field.

The Cello Program is a program that provides master's and art proficiency training in cooperation with our university's Graduate Education Institute after a four-year undergraduate education.
