Printmaking Department Art Proficiency Program is the first art Proficiency program in printmaking field in our country. The purpose of this program, is to provide the needs of upper level academics for country needs, to do research and investigations at universal level to establish the printmaking literature and create opportunities for students who wish to improve their expertise in this area. In order to achieve the program's objectives, as well as practical courses of Contemporary Art; Experimental Print Practises, Text of Criticism, Contemporary Art Comments and courses such as Research Methods in Social Sciences are also aimed at theoretical competence. In addition, one of the objectives of the program is to create an environment in which students can develop after their undergraduate education and do modern and experimental applications themselves using the most appropriate methods and techniques to produce original works. . Students are supported and encouraged by department for national and international competitions and participation. Our students have received several awards in printmaking and painting area.
