A student is required to successfully complete a minimum of 10 courses, not less than 60 ECTS credits and complete a term project, have a minimum GPA of 2.50/4.00 and no letter grades lower than CC and YT.


1. Master's program without thesis, consists of at least 10 courses and a term project, credited as being not less than 60 ECTS in total. More than 60 ECTS cannot be taken in a semester.2. A maximum of three courses that the student will take in the non-thesis master's program can be selected from the undergraduate courses provided that they have not been taken during undergraduate education.3. In the non-thesis master's program, the head of the department recommends a faculty member to advise each student in the course selection and execution of the term project, or a lecturer with a doctorate proficiency until the end of the first semester, and this proposal is finalized with the approval of the administrative board of institute.4. Duration for completion of the non-thesis master's program, except the time spent in scientific preparation, is 2 semesters, with a maximum of 3 semesters. Students who fail to take required grades or fail to complete the program at the end of this period are dismissed from the program.5. In order to be considered as successful for a student in a non-thesis master's program, a grade of YT, CC or above from the courses taken, a minimum GPA of 2.50, a YT grade from the term project course, a term project written in accordance with Anadolu University Non-Thesis Graduate Term Project Writing Guide and submitted to the institute directorate by the date of completion of the final exams specified in the calendar, is required.6. A non-thesis master's degree is awarded to students who successfully complete their credit courses and term project.7. Students who want to transfer from a non-thesis master's program to a master's program with thesis, can be transferred to the master's program with thesis by meeting the admission requirements and the conditions for transfer, upon the recommendation of the head of the relevant department and the decision of the administrative board of institute. In this case, the courses taken in the non-thesis master's program can be substituted for the courses in the master's program with thesis upon the recommendation of the head of the relevant and the decision of the institute board of directors.
