  • General Information

Faculty of Pharmacy started pharmacy education as a Private School of Pharmacy in 1968, became a State School in 1971 and a School of Pharmacy affiliated to Eskişehir Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences in 1979. In 1982, it was renamed Anadolu University Faculty of Pharmacy. With the education program of the faculty, it is aimed to train pharmacists who are highly equipped in the field of pharmacy, who are people-oriented, who apply their knowledge and skills professionally, who have adopted the rules of professional attitude, ethics and deontology. As of January 6, 2015, the Faculty is among the first 7 faculties accredited for 6 years by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Pharmacy Education Programs (ECZAKDER). The faculty was re-accredited in 2022 and the accreditation period was extended until 2028. Anadolu University Faculty of Pharmacy is the first pharmacy faculty to harmonize its education program with the National Pharmacy Core Education Program and implement it under the name of "Modular Education Program". With the Pharmacy internship applications included in the education curriculum, it is aimed to reinforce the theoretical and practical knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors gained by the students during the learning process, as well as their vocational education and skills through on-the-job studies. In addition, Faculty students can do their internships at equivalent institutions determined through various international programs or private initiatives.
