Week - 2 Explanation of the functions of drawing and painting tools such as brush and pencil; introduction to digital color systems (RGB, CMYK) and color palettes; saving files in Photoshop, file formats, undo (history), and essential functions of the edit menu.
Week - 3 Introduction to selection tools and shortcuts; detailed exploration of selection processes using magic wand tools and color modes; explanation of the move tool functions, transparency, opacity, and an introduction to the layer panel and background layers.
Week - 4 Detailed study of working with layers, creating, deleting, moving, and alternative access methods (layer menu, right-click, etc.); introduction to the type tool, text editing, coloring, font settings (font family, size, letter spacing), and basic deformation options.
Week - 5 Further exploration of text and fonts, explanation of vector-based text and its differences from bitmap; examination of pixelation through the zoom tool and shortcuts; introduction to preferences settings at a basic level without causing confusion.
Week - 6 Detailed study of text and font features for graphic design students; loading new fonts; introduction to layer styles and gradient tools; creating new styles using built-in gradient forms.
Week - 7 Continuation of text formatting; rasterizing vector fonts into bitmap format; applying selection tools and alternative methods to fill fonts and generated shapes with color, exploring creative applications of these processes.
Week - 8 Importing images from computer memory or external sources (internet, USB, digital camera, etc.); understanding image dimensions and resolution (PPI, DPI), resizing processes, and the differences between canvas size and image resolution; various saving methods and basic operations using selection tools.
Week - 9 Opening multiple images simultaneously and merging them using different transfer methods; performing cut, copy, paste, move, deformation, and placement operations to create collage works; introduction to layer masking, explaining the roles of black, white, and gray tones in masking.
Week - 10 Applying effects (filters) to images for artistic enhancement; explaining the logic of effects (relationship with foreground and background colors); exploring unique filter modes, sliders, and duplication options.
Week - 11 Continuing with filters and effects; introducing additional tools under the Filter menu; providing a general understanding of creative possibilities without going into excessive detail.
Week - 12 Examining the Adjustments section under the Image menu to understand image enhancement settings; introducing the Smart Object concept, explaining the differences and transitions between smart and rasterized layers.
Week - 13 Stylizing images using effects; combining different images to create artistic compositions and developing new techniques for digital artwork.
Week - 14 Artistic content is produced from past works and visual outputs are taken in digital environment.
