  • The student who successfully completes this course: Recognizes and applies the basic principles of sound production. (Breathing-exhalation, resonance of sound, correct posture and phonation skills) Performs basic exercises for singing technique correctly and effectively. (Vocal warm-up, articulation, legato/staccato exercises) Gains basic musical literacy skills through solfege. (note reading, rhythm counting, melody repetition and dictation) Can perform simple vocal pieces with correct intonation and rhythm. (Short songs and exercises for one voice) Develops awareness of healthy and conscious use of the voice. (Vocal hygiene, recognition of vocal limits) Develops the sense of rhythm, melody and harmony. (Repetition by hearing, inner hearing and accompaniment exercises) Can provide correct sound production and musical harmony in collective vocal works. (Developing ear and balance skills with double, triple group works) Can evaluate the expressive power of voice in theater acting in a musical context. (Understanding the relationship between voice - body - music)
