After finishing course, the students will be able to: • Describe the concepts of new media, hate discourse, hate crimes, discrimination (Sexism, racism, Homophobia etc.) and cyber crime • Become aware of hate discourses which stigmatize the social groups and their members on the basis of certain distinctions (race, ethnicityi nation, religious, gender, sexual orientation etc.) in new media medium • Compare classical and modern versions of hate discourses in new media medium • Interpret various hate discourses which circulating and reproducing in new media medium in the context of media and democracy • Develop various strategies to fight with hate discourses which are produced in new media medium
