  • The goal of this course; within the health institution management programs, for candidate administrators who will serve as an administrator in health institutions, in a decision-making processes learning reliable, available, and they can achieve auditable data and obtained data with statistical concepts and techniques aims to provide the knowledge and skills they can convert to information.
  • 1. Define statistics, basic concepts, and explain the concept of variable concept and types and scales and scale types,
  • 2. Explain data compilation and types in statistics research, data collection techniques, data that represent issues with tables and graphs.
  • 3. Explain about the concepts of the mean and variability with variable measures for the statistical series.
  • 4. Define the factors affecting the population structure of society with the help of statistical methods in a specific to the health field.
  • 5. Have a knowledge about probability theory and knowledge of the basic concepts after descriptive statistics, calculate Binomial, Poisson and probabilities for normal distribution to make predictions and to take decisions about population parameters, with the help of sample statistics will be able to predict, and correlate among the population with sample.
  • 6. Distinguish the terms of full count and sampling and explain the benefits of sampling, prepare sampling plan, do sampling practice for a sample investigation.
  • 7. Discuss about population parameters according to sample statistics determine the suitable test which will be used for hypothesis tests related with population parameters.
  • 9. Calculate the correlation between the variables, determine the way and degree of the relation, express this with a mathematical function by calculating a constant coefficient and slope.
