  • Students will have an idea about the expectations of patients before coming to the hospital, while being in the hospital, and after leaving the hospital and they will debate the general communication problems between the doctor and her/his patients.
  • Students will be informed about what the doctor should do during the clinical interview so that it can be effective, and students will evaluate the information that they have gained about doctor and patient communication critically and analytically.
  • Students will learn what kind of positive behaviors are possible to see in patients when the health personnel have effective communication skills.
  • Students will learn how to overcome communication difficulties resulting from vision or hearing impairment, voice speech and language disorders, and how the doctor should take care of such patients with deficiencies.
  • Students will be able to use the information that they have acquired in health communication while working in the public relations departments at hospitals.
  • Students will be informed about what can be achieved with mass communication tools to improve health and they can use the information that they have acquired while working at a media institution.
