# Learning Outcome
LO-1 he student accurately and fluently translates a total of 6–8 short passages selected from original Ancient Greek philosophical texts (Plato, Aristotle, Heraclitus, etc.) into Turkish and/or English, and defends the consistency of their translations' meanings.
LO-2 The student performs morphological and syntactic analyses of the principal grammatical structures in these texts (aorist, future tense, active/middle voice, conjunctions, noun phrases) and explains their effects on translation.
LO-3 The student summarizes the philosophical context of selected passages (historical background, key concepts, argument structure) and, through intertextual comparison, critically evaluates their principal similarities and differences.
