What is the text? Definition of text concept and types, Literary texts and their production processes. Production of manuscript: Historical development of paper, ink, skin, illumination, miniature arts. Writing is the place of patronage tradition in the production of manuscript: Relations between boss, poet and clerk. Copying and duplication of manuscripts. Copy identification and copy specification. Text criticism and methods: genealogical method/stemmatics, grouping method, mechanical/analytical/statistical methods, copy-text editing, best-text edition, all variants of the text(variorum) publication are combined and can be compared. |
