Aims of the Course The aim of this course is to enable students to establish relationships between concept, context, and form within the artistic production process, and to transform their theoretical and intellectual knowledge of contemporary art practices into original works. Accordingly, it is intended that students experience different approaches, media, methods, materials, and techniques, as well as interdisciplinary possibilities of expression, based on research questions related to artistic production; justify their artistic decisions and develop a subjective language of expression. Students are expected to develop their work through processes of critical inquiry and evaluation, and to project the discourse they have structured with a focus on artistic interaction, along with the conceptual contexts associated with this discourse.
