Aims of the Course The aim of this course is to enable students to recognize the fundamental concepts and various forms of application of public art, and to critically evaluate the relationships between art, space, and society. By examining issues of site-specificity, accessibility, participation, and social interaction through examples of public art, the course aims for students to develop original artistic proposals that consider the physical, cultural, and social characteristics of public space.
