Week - 1 Overview of music education institutions and systems.
Week - 2 The historical background of the term “Formation Musicale” and its meaning in the education system in France.
Week - 3 Conservatory education in Turkey, solfeggio/theory education given at Anadolu University State Conservatory and initial studies of Musical Formation.
Week - 4 Discussing the aims, objectives and methods of Musical Formation education.
Week - 5 Defining, categorizing and associating musical repertoire of Musical Formation field.
Week - 6 Introduction to Oral Musical Formation studies: Reading exercises and repertoire with and without accompaniment.
Week - 7 Rhythm and polyrhythm studies and repertoire.
Week - 8 Score reading exercises and repertoire.
Week - 9 Sing-play and transposition studies and repertoire.
Week - 10 Determination of individual observation and trial exam areas.
Week - 11 Introduction to Written Musical Formation studies: Music theory and dictation studies and repertoire.
Week - 12 Analysis and listening analysis studies and repertoire on the score.
Week - 13 Transcription studies in all categories and preparation of the transcription piece.
