The graduate programs offered by the Department of Cinema and Television are designed for students who aim to acquire competence, conduct research and gain knowledge in any of the two or both disciplines, cinema and television, according to their talents and interests regardless of the discipline they studied at the undergraduate level. The Ph.D. program does not only provide students with the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge on practice, but also provides the resources to conductoriginal research in the field of cinema and television in line with their interests and personal preferences. For this reason, the program aims to provide a broad perspective from philosophy of art to video art; from theoretical principles of editing to film language and film analysis; from media analysis to new approaches in cinema through the courses offered in the department.
