Faculty of Education | Department of Foreign Language Education | Program in German Language Teaching

The Program of German Language Teaching was initially established as a three-year program in the School of Foreign Languages. In 1982, the duration of the program was extended to four years within the framework of the restructuring of higher education.

A language score is required to enrol in the department which involves a preparatory program.The number of students enrolled is about 50 per year.

The domains of teaching are German as a second foreign languge in state schools and as a first foreign language in private schools.

5 professors, 4 associate professor, 4 assistant professors, 1 teaching assistant, 1 research assistant are currently working in the department.

The Department of German Language Teaching offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The students who enrol in these programs take a language proficiency exam and, if necessary, attend the Language Preparatory Program.
