Anadolu University, Faculty of Open Education, Department of Distance Education has been offering Distance Education Non-Thesis Online Master's Program since 2014, especially to help practitioners in the field. This program aims to enable learners to design, develop, manage and evaluate distance education applications for different needs and contexts (primary and secondary education, higher education, corporate education, lifelong learning, etc.), in line with national and international quality standards, based on scientific knowledge in the field.

A bachelor's degree in any field with a 2.0 GPA is the only requirement to enroll in the program. Applications should be made to Anadolu University's Graduate School of Education. Students are admitted at the beginning of Fall and Spring semesters. Please follow lee.anadolu.edu.tr for registration dates and requirements.

Within the scope of the program, students are required to take and successfully complete 10 courses. They are also required to take the Project (Practicum) course and carry out a project, report it and present it in front of the jury. The courses are not offered every semester, but in specific semesters. The project requires the design, production and presentation of learning resources, such as a Massive Open Online Course, a series of educational videos, radio programs, interactive e-books, etc. ready for publication. In addition to these products, they are also expected to prepare a report and submit a reflection report on the learning experience.
