  • 1. Will be able to explain the dynamics behind the tabloid pres and journalism. 1.1. Expresses the neo-liberal ideology and applied new right politics. 1.2. States the reflections of new right politics on media. 1.3. Discusses the tabloid concept relation with consumer culture and lifestyles.
  • 2. Will be able to evaluate the relationship between the new ownership structure of media, tabloid and tabloidisation concepts with the application of new right politics in Turkey. 2.1. Explains the cultural climate within the context of new middle classes. 2.2. Emphazises the new ownership structure, concentration and global cooperation in the media. 2.3. Evaluates the tabloid concept, tabloidisation tendencies and tabloid press.
  • 3. Will be able to evaluate the production process of tabloid press. 3.1. Expresses the news production process and the Professional work practices. 3.2. Interrogates the news sources and the target audience addressing by the tabloid press. 3.3. Emphazises the tabloid press’ source of income.
