The students who successfully pass the course: -will be aware of what ‘European identity’ and ‘Europe as an idea’ are
-will learn the historical development of the European Union.
-will be aware of how to use EU institutions as news sources.
-will have ideas about the media systems in EU Member States
-will have the fundamental knowledge to write investigative news reports about EU issues
-will gain experience in digital storytelling and digital news content production in the context of European Union issues
-will grip the different approaches towards Turkey’s EU bid in the Turkish media and the European media
-will improve their English language skills
