Assessment methods and criteria |
In the lectures, the lecturer introduces and explains the relevant topic each week based on the syllabus shared with the students. It is important that students come to class and actively participate in class discussions (10% of the achievement assessment). Students\' participation in the course is ensured firstly through weekly homework activities shared on the Mergen system, and then during the lectures through question-answer method and discussion within the framework of case studies and news. Students are provided with feedback to evaluate themselves. Sample podcasts are listened to with the students before the exams. Feedback is given on the texts prepared by the students. Two midterm assignments, 1 midterm and 2 final assignments are required. They are asked to prepare 5 podcasts during the semester. |
