Assessment methods and criteria |
In the lectures, the lecturer introduces and explains the relevant topic each week based on the syllabus shared with the students. It is important that students come to class and actively participate in class discussions (10% of the achievement assessment). Students\' participation in the course is ensured firstly through weekly homework activities shared on the Mergen system, and then during the lectures through question-answer method and discussion within the framework of case studies and news. Students are provided with feedback to evaluate themselves. The course includes a midterm, a final and two assignments. |

Basic concepts of radio broadcasting; Sound, music, effects, radio studio, broadcast desk, microphone, broadcast studio production studio. Types of radio programs; News program, music program, dramas, radio documentaries and show programs. Radio program text preparation processes; Research, program text and announcement writing, voiceover, effects and music selection, editing stages. |
