Catalog Content The development of children's literature in the world and Turkey; the importance of meeting qualified children's books in childhood, and the function of children's literature in raising sensitive and thinking individuals who have acquired a reading culture; examining the properties (design, content and educational) that should be present in children's literature works with examples; illustrating unqualified children's books with examples and discussing their negative effects on children's developmental characteristics; studies to determine the suitability of pre-service teachers according to the age groups of the books they read and examine, and which developments they will contribute to; determining the contributions of various literary literary genres (epic, fairy tales, poetry, stories, novels, etc.) and linguistic materials (counting, rhyme, riddle, etc.) addressing children.
