This course develops students’ basic Spanish communication skills. It begins with greetings, introductions, the alphabet, and pronunciation, followed by countries, nationalities, professions, numbers, and the structure hay. Students work on daily routines, family vocabulary, possessive and demonstrative adjectives, leisure activities, prepositions, the verb estar, and regular and irregular present-tense verbs. The ir + a + infinitive structure is introduced for future plans. Cultural themes and oral activities reinforce learning. |
