Week - 2 Communication skills: What is communication, What are the forms of communication, What are communication skills, What are the language and communication features common in individuals with developmental disabilities.
Week - 3 Practices for Gaining Communication Skills: Practices for Gaining Verbal Communication Skills: Teaching with Discrete Trials, Natural Teaching.
Week - 4 Applications to gain non-verbal communication skills: Alternative and supportive communication applications
Week - 5 Functions of Problem Behaviors: Positive reinforcement-Negative reinforcement and Automatic reinforcement function. Functional Behavioral Evaluation: Indirect evaluation, Direct evaluation, Experimental (Functional analysis) evaluation. Traditional functional analysis application and Alternative Functional Analysis Applications.
