Agricultural technology technicians can work in various fields, including seed production, nursery management, vegetable and seedling production companies, as well as in agricultural pesticide and fertilizer dealerships. They may also be employed in the storage, preservation, and processing of agricultural products, and in animal production enterprises where they take part in tasks such as animal care, feeding, and milking operations. In addition, they can find employment in agricultural enterprises; in units affiliated with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry; in the faculties of agriculture, aquaculture, and forestry of universities; in university research and application farms; and in the park, garden, and public works departments of municipalities. They may also work in public institutions and private sector companies involved in food processing.
