Graduates of the Department of History of the Republic of Turkey can become researchers/civil servants in special fields such as libraries, archives and museums. If they meet the conditions, they have the opportunity to pursue an academic career at the universities of the Republic of Turkey. They can become teachers after completing their formation and passing the relevant exams. In addition, if they improve themselves in Ottoman Turkish, they have the right to take the exams opened by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Apart from these, they can serve as consultants in the field of museology, which is becoming increasingly widespread today, and they can find opportunities to transfer their knowledge in digital environments.
