  • By the end of the course, students will be able to gain knowledge in morphology.
  • Identify and distinguish derived noun types (active participle, passive participle, adjectival forms) in texts.
  • Classify verbal noun (masdar) types and analyze their usage in context.
  • Recognize all augmented verb forms (mezīd forms) and apply their functions.
  • Use and analyze the distinction between active and passive voice in verb conjugations.
  • By the end of the course, students will be be to gain knowledge in syntax.
  • Apply inflectional rules of verbs and correctly use subjunctive and jussive particles.
  • Analyze mansub and marfuʿ elements (e.g., objects, subject–predicate).
  • Differentiate types of objects (direct object, causal object, concomitant object, etc.) and explain their functions.
  • Evaluate adverbs, relative pronouns, conditional and interrogative particles within context.
  • Explain the relationship between inflection and meaning in ḥāl, tamyīz, and exception structures.
  • Apply syntactic connectors such as coordination, emphasis, and substitution in text analysis.
