  • 1. Students will understand the developments of internal policies during National Chief period. 1.1. Students will know death of Atatürk, assembly of CHP extraordinary meeting and election of İsmet İnönü as the president. 1.2. Students will understand the cabinets of National Chief period and thier basic political programmes. 1.3. Students will discuss the effects of the developments in foreign policies on internal policies.
  • Students will explain the principles of Turkish foreign policies during the World War II. 2.1. Students will recognize and discuss the treaties signed and the new world order after the War, 2.2. Students will recognize the revisionist and antirevisionist blocks. 2.3. Students will explain triple alliance treaty. 2.4 .Students will understand the policy of non-participating in the War. 2.5. Students will understand the change in Turkish foriegn policy after Stalingrad event. 2.6. Stundets will explain the announcement of War by Turkey against the axis countries.

  • Students will understand the topic of elections in multi-party period and the end of National Chief period.. 5.1. Students will evaluate the relationship between government and opposition. 5.2. Students will give information about 1946 elections. 5.3. Students will explain the political situation after the elections. 5.4. Students will recognize the political issues inside between 1946-1950 period. 5.5. Students will evaluate the period which lead to 1950 elections. 5.6. Students will recognize the results of 1950 elections and understand the end of National Chief period.
