Reading strategies including pre-reading, prediction, and identifying keywords; Basic text types such as dialogues, short stories, novels, news articles, and advertisements; Deriving meaning from context, particularly in inferring the meaning of unfamiliar words; Sentence analysis in simple sentences, including identifying elements such as verb–subject–object and subject–predicate structures; text analysis focusing on identifying main and supporting ideas and understanding paragraph structure; Vocabulary development through thematic word lists and exercises on synonyms and antonyms. |
