Gastronomy sector has become an ever-growing financial power in Turkey, which has a rich tapestry of gastronomical diversity. As a result of this, the focus on gastronomic education has substantially increased in Turkey. The increasing importance on culinary education both professionally and academically and prospective attitudes lead to an increase in the number of  professionals in global perspective.

Within this context, Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Master's Program aims to raise individuals who can make positive contribution to the sector with academician candidates who are able to think analytically in the field of research, who have strengthened their researcher identity, who adhere to scientific ethical rules, who can produce alternative solutions to problems, who can conduct researches to make authentic contribution to the field, who can develop effective communication with academic and sectoral stakeholders,who can benefit from information technologies, who can defend their ideas with a sophisticated approach and express them clearly in written and verbal form.
